How to Play

Original Single Digits Edition card

Object of the game: Make the number 24 from the four numbers shown.
You can add, subtract, multiply and divide. Use all four numbers on the card, but use each number only once. You do not have to use all four operations. All number nines have a red center, so you can tell a nine from a six. We show one solution to the card below, can you find another?

5 x 5 = 25
4 – 3 = 1
25 – 1 = 24

This is an easy card, called a “1 Dot,” because it has one white dot in the corner. Cards of medium difficulty have two red dots, and tough cards have three yellow dots. Each game page includes sample cards and a brief explanation.
